For women going through menopause, there's something else: As estrogen levels drop, muscle mass decreases faster, bone density declines, and metabolism slows down. These aren't inevitable setbacks, but they need a targeted response. Studies show significant improvements in bone density and muscle performance through strength training in women during and after menopause.
